This is the email communication that was sent out to customers on January 14, 2020.


As you may or may not already be aware, VIPRE Security has initiated the end-of-life process for our legacy product, VIPRE Mobile Security. While we are proud of what we’ve accomplished with VIPRE Mobile Security, we are committed to providing you with the best online protection we can. In keeping with this commitment, VIPRE Mobile Security is being retired so that we can introduce you to the latest and greatest we have to offer in mobile protection, VIPRE Android™ Security.

You’re probably wondering, “What does this mean for me?”. If you are an existing VIPRE Mobile Security customer, you’ll transition to VIPRE Android Security. We have put together a list of frequently asked questions you can read to help clear up any concerns you may have.

Based on customer feedback, we have extended the life of the current platform and customer portal for VIPRE Mobile Security to January 17, 2020, so that we could give you more time to migrate to our new product and retrieve any data you may have backed up within the old platform.

If you used VIPRE Mobile Security to back up your data, settings, or photos, you must retrieve your data by January 17, 2020. Your data will no longer be accessible after January 17, 2020.
