Import Users

This section allows bulk import of users (mailboxes), either via CSV file or CSV pasted text. Once an import task is scheduled, it will start importing all users shortly.

Valid Fields: Email, First Name, Last Name, Password, Site, Secondary Address, Alias, Forwarding Address, Redirected Address, Group

●  Email column is required; the rest is optional.
Secondary Address, Alias and Forwarding Address columns can be specified multiple times.
● Depending on the setting for secondary accounts, only either Secondary Address or Alias will be a valid field.
● Messages received by the user will forward a message copy to the Forwarding Addresses.
● Messages sent to Secondary Addresses will also be sent to the user, while those sent to an Alias will be redirected to the primary mailbox.
● Users with a Redirected Address defined will have their messages sent to that address instead of their own mailbox.
● Email for the user will be routed to the Site.
● If Password is not specified in the CSV data, then a random password will be generated.
● Capitalization is important, e.g. First Name will work, but first name will fail.

User Groups

User groups are used for defining groups of accounts to apply advanced policy actions towards.

Columns

  • Name: Name of the group.
  • Description: Description of what the group is.
