Manage your VIPRE Android Security Subscription

Follow the path below to manage your VIPRE Android Security subscription. By answering the questions presented below, we'll walk you through the process of renewing your existing license or changing the number of devices covered, step-by-step.

Important Information

If at any point during the path below you realize you've chosen the wrong option, you can go back to the previous step and change your answer. Just look for the arrow shown here.


Decision Tree

Has your subscription already expired?

There are two ways to check your subscription status. See the instructions below to check via the VIPRE Android Security app or the Security Central Portal.

To check your current subscription status via the VIPRE Android Security app:

  1. Open the VIPRE Android Security app on your device
  2. In the bottom menu, tap on theMore button in the far-right
  3. Select your name and email address at the top
  4. Under Subscriptions, you will see how much time is left in your Mobile Security Subscription

To check your current subscription status via the VIPRE Security Central Portal:

  1. Navigate to https://mobile.myvipre.com and attempt to log in
  2. If you were not able to log in, skip to the bottom of the page and click the My account was deleted or not found button below
  3. If you were able to log in:
    • If you are on your Android mobile device, tap the hamburger menu in the upper-left corner of the screen and select My Subscriptions
    • If you are on your computer, select My Subscriptions from the left-side menu
      • Here you'll see how many devices your license covers; click on the information icon to show more details about your license like the number of days remaining in your subscription


Select an answer below to move to the next step.

  • My account was deleted or not found
  • My subscription is still active
  • My subscription has expired
  • Add Button

If you attempted to log in and your account was deleted or not found, you'll need to create a new account and purchase a new VIPRE Android Security license.


  1. Click Create One at the bottom of https://mobile.myvipre.com
  2. Fill out the appropriate information and follow the link to the Terms of Use to read them
  3. If you agree with the Terms of Use, click the checkmark stating so
  4. Click the blue Create Account button

  • I'm ready to purchase a new license

Follow the instructions below to purchase your VIPRE Android Security subscription. You have the option to protect 1, 3, 5, or 10 Android devices for up to 3 years.


  1. Navigate to the VIPRE Android Security product purchase page - (link will open in a new tab so you can refer back to these instructions)
  2. Select the number of Android devices you want to protect and how many years you want to subscribe for
  3. Click Apply
  4. Fill out all of the required billing and contact information and click Buy Now

Now, check your email as your new activation code will be sent there. Make sure to take note of your activation code as you'll need it.

  1. Open the VIPRE Android Security app on your device
  2. In the bottom menu, tap on theMore button in the far-right
  3. Select your name and email address at the top
  4. Under Subscriptions, tap Add an activation code
  5. In the window pop-up, enter the activation code you received via email and tap Activate


CongratulationsYou have successfully renewed your VIPRE Android Security subscription.

Great! You still have an active subscription. Choose from the options below to renew your current subscription with no changes or change the number of protected devices.

To renew your current subscription with no changes: 


First, you'll need to know how many devices your current license covers.

  1. Navigate to the VIPRE Security Central portal and log in
  2. Select My Subscriptions on the left-side menu


  3. Comparing with the screenshot above, you'll see the following information:
    • 1 = Product, 2 = Status, 3 = Number of Devices
    • In this example, it shows your license covers three devices and you've used one out of those three.


Now that you know how many devices your existing license covers, you'll purchase a VIPRE Android Security license that covers the same number of devices.

Important Note

If at any point during the purchase process you decide you want to change the number of protected devices, do not follow this process. Click the arrow within this window to go back to the previous step and change your answer to I need to change the number of protected devices.


  1. Navigate to the VIPRE Android Security product purchase page - (link will open in a new tab so you can refer back to these instructions)
  2. Select the number of Android devices that your current license already covers and the number of years you want to subscribe for
  3. Click Apply
  4. Fill out all of the required billing and contact information and click Buy Now

Check your email as your new activation code will be sent there. Make sure to take note of your activation code as you'll need it.

  1. Go back to the VIPRE Security Central portal and log in again if necessary
  2. Click on My Subscriptions on the left-side menu
  3. Click ACTIVATION CODE and insert your activation code


CongratulationsYou have successfully renewed your VIPRE Android Security subscription.

Follow the instructions below to change the number of Android devices covered under your VIPRE Android Security subscription.


Important Information

Please be aware, if your subscription is still active, you will not be able to add additional devices on your existing account. You can:

  • Wait until the current subscription expires

or

  • Create a new account/subscription
    • If you choose this option, please see "Create a New Account" below

If you need assistance with either of these options, please contact Support.

Create a New Account

You will not be able to create your new VIPRE Security account with the same email address in use with your current subscription. If you do not already have another email address you can use, we've included Google search results here for you to assist in the creation of a new email address.

Once you have your new email address, continue with the instructions below.


  1. Navigate to the VIPRE Android Security product purchase page - (link will open in a new tab so you can refer back to these instructions)
  2. Select the new number of Android devices you want to protect and how many years you want to subscribe for
  3. Click Apply
  4. Fill out all of the required billing and contact information and click Buy Now

Now, check your email as your new activation code will be sent there. Make sure to take note of your activation code as you'll need it.

  1. Go back to the VIPRE Security Central portal, and if you're still logged in with your previous account, please log out now
  2. Click Create One at the bottom of the sign-in page
  3. Fill out the appropriate information, making sure to use the new email address, and click the link to the Terms of Use to read them
  4. If you agree with the Terms of Use, click the checkmark stating so
  5. Click the blue Create Account button
  6. Once your account is created, log in with your newly created account credentials
  7. A 'Welcome' window will pop up; click Activate a subscription
  8. Enter your activation code then click ACTIVATE

Congratulations! You have successfully added additional devices to your VIPRE Android Security subscription.

If you are able to log in to your account, and your VIPRE Android Security subscription has expired, you can easily update your license with the option to protect 1, 3, 5, or 10 Android devices for up to 3 years.


  1. Navigate to the VIPRE Android Security product purchase page - (link will open in a new tab so you can refer back to these instructions)
  2. Select the number of Android devices you want to protect and how many years you want to subscribe for
  3. Click Apply
  4. Fill out all of the required billing and contact information and click Buy Now

Now, check your email as your new activation code will be sent there. Make sure to take note of your activation code as you'll need it.

  1. Go back to the VIPRE Security Central portal
  2. A 'Welcome' window will pop up; click Activate a subscription
  3. Enter your activation code then click ACTIVATE

Congratulations! You have successfully renewed your VIPRE Android Security subscription.
