Display VIPRE Cloud Policies and Exclusions

This article will help you identify existing policy, exclusion, and system settings from VIPRE Cloud.

Policy Settings in VIPRE Cloud

In VIPRE Cloud, there are three distinct types of configuration settings: site settings, endpoint policies, and exclusions.

Review Configuration Settings

  1. Log in to your VIPRE Cloud site
  2. Select System > Settings and review the listed settings
 

Review Policy Settings

  1. Log in to your VIPRE Cloud site
  2. Select Policies
  3. Review the listed policies

Policies can be automatically assigned based on device type or manually assigned. You may wish to re-implement any custom policies that are used for logical groupings of systems. 

If you drill down on each policy, you can see the specific settings for that policy broken out into groups such as Scanning policies, Active Protection policies, etc.

 

Review Exclusions

  1. Log in to your VIPRE Cloud site
  2. Select Exclusions > Custom
  3. Review the list (if there are any items in it)

Exclusions can apply to files, domains, and processes. Exclusions sets are assigned to policies; each policy can have multiple exclusion sets and each exclusions set can be assigned to multiple policies.
