Product release information for VIPRE Endpoint Server Agent for Windows v12.3.8146, released on February 23, 2022.

What's New

This update to the VIPRE Endpoint Server Agent for Windows fixes a known issue with the previous version with the Anti-Phishing Email Protection feature that was causing Microsoft Outlook to stop responding. 

Fixed in this Version

  • VPBAGENT-7760, VPBAGENT-8365: Anti-Phishing Email Protection feature was causing slowness in Microsoft Outlook when enabled
  • VPBAGENT-7938: Update Now button in the User Interface was showing despite the definition already being up-to-date
  • VPBAGENT-7982: IDS (Intrusion Detection System) notification window was allowing the user to create a local Allow rule rather than being locked by the policy
  • VPBAGENT-8019: Incorrect Operating System name was displayed in the VSS Console for Windows 11
  • VPBAGENT-8246: Malicious Content Blocking for HTTP was interfering with SQL Server 2017 Reporting Services
