You can reinstall SafeSend on individual computers or many computers by using Group Policy.

Reinstall on Individual PCs

To reinstall SafeSend on one PC

  1. Double-click on the installer package.
  2. Accept the End-user License Agreement.
  3. Click Install.

Upon completion of the install process, SafeSend should now be available on the PC. 

Redeploy using GPO

To reinstall SafeSend on many computers at once using GPO

  1. Navigate to Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Group Policy Management Console.
  2. Locate the SafeSend GPO; right-click on the GPO, and select Edit.
  3. Expand Computer Configuration > Policies > Software Settings > Software installation.
  4. Right-click Software Installation, then select New > Package.
  5. In the Open dialog, enter the full UNC path of the shared package you want to assign. Be sure to use the UNC path, not not the Browse button.
  6. Click Open.
  7. Click Assigned > OK. The package will be added to the right pane of the Group Policy window.
  8. On the right side of the window, right-click on the new Package and select Properties.
  9. Under the Upgrades tab, click Add.
  10. In the section named Choose a package from, select Current Group Policy Object (GPO).
  11. In the Package to upgrade section, select the appropriate version.
  12. Select Uninstall the existing package, then install the upgrade package.
  13. Click OK.

SafeSend silently upgrades the next time the client machines boot up.
