VIPRE is pleased to announce release 2.5 of VIPRE Threat IQ Cloud. This release makes substantial changes to the backend but is not expected to have very visible changes to customers.
What's New
This release has delivered the following changes:
- Relocation of Threat IQ services to a more distributed, scalable environment
- Improvements to the blacklist feeds, including a better caching mechanism, better false-positive handling with whitelisting, and improving list capacity
- The addition of two new sources of raw malware feeds to improve coverage
- Removal of a malware source that was causing too many false positives
- Overall better query performance improvements
- Additional improvements and bug fixes
System Requirements
As Threat IQ is delivered via a RESTful API, any compatible REST client or web browser should work - no changes are expected with this release.
