This update makes installing, updating, and uninstalling VIPRE Antivirus Plus smoother, addressing issues that might have caused confusion or interruptions.
VIPRE Recommends
Keeping all software in your environment as up-to-date as possible is critical. New software releases often fix issues with older product versions that, unless addressed, could leave you vulnerable. As such, VIPRE recommends updating to the most recent version as soon as possible.
Fixed Issues
- Fixed an issue where the VIPRE Setup dialog could appear to get stuck on "Scanning" during installation. If you closed the dialog, VIPRE continued to install and run normally in the background
- Fixed an issue that could cause VIPRE to restart multiple times while downloading and applying the latest virus definitions
- Fixed an issue where uninstalling VIPRE opened a feedback survey in your browser that did not load correctly. The survey step has been removed from the uninstaller
