This article details some of the frequently asked questions that we have received regarding the sunsetting of VIPRE Mobile Security.

Q. Why is VIPRE Mobile Security being retired?

A. We are always improving our products so we can provide you with the best online protection available! While we remain proud of what we've accomplished with VIPRE Mobile Security, we are equally as excited to introduce you to the latest and greatest way to ensure your cyber safety with VIPRE Android™ Security.

Q. I purchased a lifetime license from HSN. Will I lose that?

A. As long as you have a valid license for VIPRE Mobile Security, then we can assist you with receiving the same licensing terms for VIPRE Android Security. Contact us by opening a support request. If possible, make sure to attach your VIPRE Mobile Security Proof-of-Purchase from HSN to the support request. If you don't have this available, we can assist in obtaining this for you.

Q. Do I have to pay for the transition to VIPRE Android Security?

A. If you have a current subscription to VIPRE Mobile Security, then there is no cost to transfer the remainder of that subscription to VIPRE Android Security.

Q. Will this affect other VIPRE products that I use?

A. No, this only affects VIPRE Mobile Security. Our award-winning products, such as VIPRE Advanced Security and VIPRE Antivirus Plus, will continue to provide you with premium online protection on your desktop or laptop computers.

Q. When did VIPRE decide to end-of-life this product?

A. In the Summer of 2019, VIPRE made the decision to retire VIPRE Mobile Security. Our first formal communication with customers was sent in August 2019. Below is a timeline of events leading up to the full end of life of VIPRE Mobile Security.
