Enable Mac VPN on Public Networks

Use the following steps to enable your VIPRE Encrypt.team VPN on public or untrusted networks.

  1. From within Encrypt.team, click the Settings cog in the top right corner
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Encrypt.team Preferences will popup; click Networks
  4. At the bottom of the window, uncheck the following options:
    • Automatically enable Encrypt.team on untrusted networks
    • Activate OverCloak on untrusted networks
  5. Once you have disabled the auto-secure and Overcloak options, connect to the desired public network and reconnect to your VPN
  6. Click on the Settings cog again and select Preferences
  7. Encrypt.team Preferences will popup; click Networks
  8. At the bottom of the window, re-enable the following options:
    • Automatically enable Encrypt.team on untrusted networks
    • Activate OverCloak on untrusted networks

 

Change VPN Server

  1. Click the Encrypt.team icon in the top app bar to open the application
  2. Click the  icon in the top left of the Encrypt.team screen to choose from a list of Transporter locations to connect through
