VIPRE Encrypt.team is a VPN that is designed to protect you from security and privacy threats while using laptops and other mobile devices on untrusted or public networks (e.g., coffee shops, hotels, airports, etc). If you need to download and install Encrypt.team, this is the place to start.
Select an Operating System below to get started.
Windows
Step 1. Download Encrypt.team for Windows
- Click here to download and save the application
- Right-click on the .exe file and select Run
- Click the link to read the license terms and check I agree to the license terms and conditions
- Click Install
Step 2. Log In
To log in, you will receive either an email invitation with a sign-up link or a customized sign-up URL
- Click the link you received
- It will bring you to a team sign-up page; click Join the team
- You will be prompted to create an account but it is possible that your team manager automatically created an account for you
- If your account was already created for you, you will be notified on the Join my team page
Step 3. Connect to Encrypt.team VPN
- Now that you're logged in and have joined your team, click the Encrypt.team icon in the Windows system tray (bottom right corner near the date and time)
- You will see a screen showing what network you are connected to; click Encrypt Me
- When the VPN is connected to your network, the screen will turn blue and the button will change to say Stop Encrypting
Congratulations! You have successfully enabled VIPRE Encrypt.team for Windows.
macOS
Step 1. Download Encrypt.team for Mac
- Click here to download and save the application
- Find the Encrypt.team logo and drop it into the Applications folder
- Double-click the icon
- macOS will ask you if you are sure you want to open the application; select Open
Step 2. Log In
To log in, you will receive either an email invitation with a sign-up link or a customized sign-up URL
- Click the link you received
- It will bring you to a team sign-up page; click Join the team
- You will be prompted to create an account but it is possible that your team manager automatically created an account for you
- If your account was already created for you, you will be notified on the Join my team page
Step 3. Connect to Encrypt.team VPN
- You will see a screen showing what WiFi network you are connected to; click Secure my connection
- When the VPN is connected to your network, the screen will turn blue, and the button will change to say Stop securing
Congratulations! You have successfully enabled VIPRE Encrypt.team for Mac.
iOS
Step 1. Download Encrypt.team iOS App
- Access the Apple App Store on your iOS device
- Search for Encrypt.team to download and install the app
Step 2. Log In
To log in, you will receive either an email invitation with a sign-up link or a customized sign-up URL
- Click the link you received
- It will bring you to a team sign-up page; click Join the team
- You will be prompted to create an account but it is possible that your team manager automatically created an account for you
- If your account was already created for you, you will be notified on the Join my team page
Step 3. Connect to Encrypt.team VPN
- Auto-secure automatically secures your connection to untrusted networks and if it can't, it will block all access to the Internet; it may be best to select Disable auto-secure for now

- Tap Continue to configure your device
- A window will pop up asking for permission so Encrypt.team to add VPN connections to your device; select Allow
- A window will pop up asking for permission so Encrypt.team can send you notifications; select Allow
- A red screen will appear showing you which network you're connected to; tap the slider bar that says Off and the screen will turn from red to blue to show as being encrypted

Android
Step 1. Download Encrypt.team Android app
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device and search for VIPRE Encrypt.team
- Tap Install
- Once installation as completed, tap Open
Step 2. Log In
To log in, you will receive either an email invitation with a sign-up link or a customized sign-up URL
- Click the link you received
- It will bring you to a team sign-up page; click Join the team
- You will be prompted to create an account but it is possible that your team manager automatically created an account for you
- If your account was already created for you, you will be notified on the Join my team page
Step 3. Connect to Encrypt.team VPN
- You will see a screen showing what WiFi network you are connected to; tap the slider to connect

Step 1. Download Encrypt.team FireOS app
- Open the Amazon Appstore on your Amazon FireOS device and search for VIPRE Encrypt.team
- Tap Install or Get App
- Once installation as completed, tap Open

To log in, you will receive either an email invitation with a sign-up link or a customized sign-up URL
- Click the link you received
- It will bring you to a team sign-up page; click Join the team
- You will be prompted to create an account but it is possible that your team manager automatically created an account for you

Step 3. Connect to Encrypt.team VPN
- You will see a screen showing what WiFi network you are connected to; tap the slider to encrypt your connection
