To install VIPRE Identity Shield, please follow the steps below.

Windows

1. Download VIPRE Identity Shield.
   • If prompted by your web browser, click on the download confirmation.
2. After the download is complete, double-click on the downloaded file, or click on the downloaded file shortcut, to start installing.
3. Confirm the installation process by clicking the Yes or Run button.
4. Click on the Install button and let the installation process run its course.
5. After VIPRE Identity Shield installs on your computer, the program will run an initial scan.
6. After the scan completion, activate your Identity Shield license by clicking on the “Register Now” button and enter the license key that came with your package.

You are all done! Your licensed version of VIPRE Identity Shield will now allow you to remove traceable login credentials, browsing activities, and personal information.

NOTE: If VIPRE Identity Shield does not automatically start, do the following:

1. In the lower-left corner of your screen, select Start or the Windows icon.
2. Click All Programs.
3. Click the VIPRE Identity Shield folder.
4. Click VIPRE Identity Shield.
