  • An email account configured within Gmail.com webmail

Step 1:

Log in to your account at Gmail.com.

Step 2:

Open Gmail "Settings" by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of the page.

Step 3:

Select the "Accounts" tab.

Step 4:

Click "Add another email address you own" in the "Send mail as" section.

Step 5:

In the pop-up window, fill our the form:

  • Fill in your name
  • Set email to your Sendinc Email Alias
  • Uncheck the Treat as an alias option

Step 6:

Click "Next Step".

Step 7:

Fill out the form:

  • Set SMTP Server to "smtp.sendinc.net"
  • Set Port to "465"
  • Set username to your Sendinc Email Alias
  • Set password to your Sendinc Password

If you get the following error

You must send through secure25.net SMTP servers when you send as xxxx.xxxx@secure25.net. However, this functionality is not available for your account. Please contact your domain administrator for more information.

Solution

It looks like you have Google Workspace-GSuite for this domain. The error you are getting is because at the Google Admin level your organization doesn't have Allow per-user outbound.

This is a feature that is currently disabled. Please follow the instructions on the link below and let us know if you're still having issues:

Step 8:

  • Click "Add Account".

Step 9:

Google will send a verification code to your Sendinc Email Alias address. We will receive and forward this email to the email address you set up your account with. Once received, enter the code into the field provided by Gmail and click "Verify".

Step 10:

Now log out and back into your Gmail account. This insures the setup is complete.

Step 11:

When composing a new message, set the Sendinc Email Alias account you just created as the From address before sending.

All Done!

Send a test email to yourself to make sure everything works!
