We have changed the email header format that affects all automated notifications you may receive from us.
What is happening?
There are several automated email notifications you may receive from us as a VIPRE Cloud subscriber, depending on the scenario. The emails in these scenarios may contain additional information, including your site name and/or site ID or admin email address.
Changes to Existing Header
- From header will change to noreply+<your_site_name>@myvipre.com
- Exceptions for Endpoint Security Cloud and Site Manager: In cases where a site has not yet been created, the From header will not change and will remain no-reply@myvipre.com
New Headers
- X-VCLOUD-ENDPOINT-SITE-NAME: <your_site_name>
- X-VCLOUD-ENDPOINT-SITE-ID: <your_site_ID>
- In cases where a site has not been created yet, you may notice it will look like this instead: X-VCLOUD-ENDPOINT-SITE-ID: <provided_admin_email_address>
