Send Secure Message

This article demonstrates how to send a *Secure Message* from [Sendinc.com](https://www.sendinc.com).

Step 1:

Log in to your account at Sendinc.com.

Step 2:

If you were not directed to the compose page, click on "Compose" in the bottom right of the page you are on and a compose window will pop up for you.

Note

The compose button is available on most Sendinc.com pages, including the home page.

 

Step 3:

Fill out the compose form:

  • Set To to the recipients email address
  • Optionally set the Cc and Bcc by clicking on them on the right side of the To field
  • Set the Subject to the subject of the email
  • Compose the message body
  • Add attachments as necessary by clicking ""Attach Files"*
  • Set your message options
    • Copy Me - If enabled, you will receive a copy of the message
    • Notify When Read (Pro/Corporate Only) - If enabled, you will be notified the first time each recipient opens the message
    • Expire When Read (Pro/Corporate Only) - If enabled, the message can only be read by each recipient 1 time before it expires.
    • Self-Destruct (Pro/Corporate Only) - Sets how long the message should be readable by the recipients. Can be used in conjuction with the Expire When Read option. 

Important

The message Subject is not encrypted.

  • Enabling the Copy Me option is the only way that you will be able to view the message contents after you send the message
  • If a recipient does not read a message with Expire When Read enabled, the message will expire when the Self-Destruct timer runs out (unless it's set to \"Never\"
 

Step 4:

  • Click the "Send Secure" button.
